"Sivakumarin Sabadham" Movie Review

 

A fun-filled movie with a good social message at the end. 

Sivakumar(Hip hop Tamizha) is a middle class happy carefree man along with his family living in Kanchipuram District. On the other side, his chithapa(Prankster Rahul) married a girl and was living with her in a big home. As the story progresses Sivakumar was taken to the big home by his chithapa so that he could learn or do something with his life. It was at this time where Sivakumar meets his college lover which eventually leads to romance and a strong bond between them. Later during the interval scene, the plan to make Sivakumar learn the cloth business backfired so that he and his chithapa were chased out of the home. After this incident, Sivakumar was determined to show them his talent and grow big. In this process, Sivakumar and his chithapa were threatened by those family members. In spite of all the difficulties how Sivakumar managed to succeed with his love and managed to connect every family member describes the whole story. 

The story had major issues like no strong storyline. The story wavered here and there without proper motive. Otherwise coming to the technical aspects cast selection, cinematography, screenplay, shoot location was good and added strength to the storyline. The cast & crew were completely new faces which made it more refreshing and gave out a fresh look. Shoot locations added the perfect combo to the dialogues and the progress of the story. The story showed a bit of lag during the interval break. I felt the scenes were unwantedly stretched with some non-laughable comedy. Some scenes were a little illogical and felt it needed much more work. 

Overall If you are a person who looks into the in-depth aspects of each movie and wants everything to be perfect this wouldn't be a perfect choice but if you just want to chill, take a break and watch it only for entertainment then personally I guess you would be well satisfied with the film
.
